PS2 HDD: Just Another Add-On? says: "In the end, the only way Sony may be able to market their add-on unit is by offering it to PlayStation 2 owners for free" but I think they're missing the fact that if everyone has to buy a HDD to play new games (see previous link), a lot of people will buy it. I won't, but I'm sure some folks will. -- WC

Amateur arguers are not interested in furthering knowledge. They are only interested in "winning" arguments. They will become frustrated and upset if they lose. They will expect their defeated opponents to be sufficiently upset when they lose. A true professional will be happy at the end of any argument because they will have learned something or they will have taught someone else something. The only time a professional will be sad is when there can be no resolution. -- WC

The Mac TV was a great idea. The execution wasn't so hot though. Like the author of the article, I think a solid black iMac would be great. Take one of the the DVD models and throw in a TV tuner and some inputs, so folks could plug in a VCR, video game console or a cable box and they could start selling these things to almost every on-campus student in the country. They'd probably even be able to sell a few to male Windows lovers, because it'd be more than a PC. It'd be a complete entertainment center in one small package. -- WC
